A Los Angeles native, Winter Stone comes from a family lineage of artists and creatives. After working as a freelance artist creating his own clothing line, paintings to faux finishing, Winter opened his own studio in 2011 from the request of private clients, friends and family. As a self-taught tattoo artist, Winter grew up drawing the finest little symbols and initials on his classmates with a .3 lead pencil. Driven to be the best at his craft, his overall background knowledge of art and graphic design over the years has heavily influenced his own success with his meticulous, clean, straight to the point lines. Using only a Bishop rotary for his work, the machine allows him take on clients anywhere around the world to create his most beautiful, precise tattoos -- from his notable palm trees, scripts, lightning bolts, hearts and custom designs.
With a growing following of 500k followers on Instagram and a 1 year wait list, Winter is one of LA’s most sought after tattoo artists and has held guest residencies in New York’s esteemed tattoo studio, Bang Bang. Winter continues to increase his support across multiple industries and caught the eye of the fashion community by storm with his delicate lines, reminiscent of what’s happening in jewelry right now.
