Tattoo aftercare is just as an important commitment as choosing your tattoo. Learn how to heal and protect your new, fresh tattoo faster and how to take proper care for your ink art in the long run so you can enjoy it for years to come.
How to take care of tattoos
Right after you get a tattoo, take the right steps to protect, moisturize and to support the skin during the recovery process to assure you’ll get the best result.
Created by a Dermatologist, Doctor Rogers RESTORE® Healing Balm is the best tattoo aftercare ointment. An all-purpose ointment that uses only the purest, plant-based ingredients to aid the skin in healing while preventing skin irritation and fading ink colors.
Avoid Vaseline® and petroleum based products – they are often recommended after getting a tattoo, however, they can remove the ink resulting in premature fading and discoloration of your art. Instead, use RESTORE Healing Balm to speed the healing of fresh ink and protect its colors without the risk of allergy and irritation.
Continue to look after your tattoo once it’s healed by keeping it well moisturized with RESTORE Healing Balm and protected from the sun with broad spectrum sunscreen.

GLYCERIN
Glycerin is a powerful humectant that pulls water into the skin, promotes healing, reduces irritation and restores normal skin barrier function. The glycerin vegetable in RESTORE Healing Balm is harvested from sustainably farmed oil palm trees and is United States Pharmacopeia (USP) grade. USP is the highest grade available, making it acceptable for food, drug, or medicinal use.
CASTOR SEED OIL & CASTOR WAX
Castor seed oil is a well-known emollient that hydrates the skin and has been shown to decrease inflammation. Castor wax, also known as hydrogenated castor seed oil, is added to increase stability and keep the balm solid. Only the highest grade castor products, per the International Castor Oil Association (ICOA) industry specifications, are used in RESTORE Healing Balm 100% plant-based ingredients.
